More commonly known as sweet marjoram, a member of the mint family, it is native to the Mediterranean and Western Asia. It has a similar taste profile to oregano but is milder and is used to flavour salads, soups and granish meat dishes. This easy to grow herb is a perennial and loves full sun and a well draining soil.
